The ATIP Analyst reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives, and is responsible for reviewing records, applying exemptions for ATIP requests, and consulting on legislation interpretation. This role is instrumental in developing sound policies and guiding employees and managers about their responsibilities within the framework of ATIP legislation.

Key Responsibilities:



• Evaluate requested records for applicable exemptions • Provide guidance on ATIP Act compliance • Work with other government departments on requests • Create and improve ATIP-related policies • Facilitate training on compliance requirements

Requirements: • Secondary school diploma or relevant experience • Minimum 2 years working with ATIP legislation • Familiarity with Treasury Board directives • Robust organizational skills to manage priorities • Must be eligible for Secret security clearance
