Responsibilities





Working as a Food Service Counter Attendant means wearing many hats throughout each shift. You'll support both the front counter and back-of-house operations, helping to maintain Tim Hortons' standard of speed and quality. Here's what a typical shift looks like:

- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to keep service running without interruption
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas throughout your shift
- Keep records of the quantities of food used to support accurate inventory management
- Package take‑out food and portion and wrap foods for customer orders
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items using the grill and conventional oven
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure items are always available for service
- Take customers' orders at the counter and process transactions using the electronic cash register
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs as needed
