Duties
- Set up banquet rooms with tables, linens, silverware, glassware, and centerpieces to create inviting dining environments.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring each guest’s needs are met with a smile.
- Assist with food presentation and food handling to uphold safety standards and quality.
- Clear tables efficiently after service, maintaining cleanliness throughout the event.
- Provide attentive guest services by answering questions, refilling drinks, and addressing special requests with enthusiasm.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth operation of each event.
- Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to guarantee a safe dining experience.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred; a passion for hospitality is a plus!
- valid smart serve certification required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly between tasks in a busy environment.
- Ability carry/lift up to 30 lbs
- Flexible availability including breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekends
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper serving techniques.
- Experience in food preparation or bartending is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
