Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer role to support our Information Services team. This is a contract opportunity, and the individual will report to the Manager of Enterprise Business Solutions. The role will be responsible for delivering solutions to TCI employees and Consumers of TCI product offerings. The successful individual will work with senior team members' oversight and be part of the larger software development team contributing to the delivery of "real‑world" software solutions to meet our business needs.

What You’ll be Doing:

Responsibilities vary from term to term, may include but are not limited to the following:
- Building applications using Office 365 tools including SharePoint and PowerApps.
- Working with the Open Systems Development Team leveraging the Java platform to create/enhance our suite of custom‑built solutions.
- Building applications in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud leveraging technologies such as Ruby, Lambda, and Vue.js
- Working closely with senior team members to identify opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, and translate business goals into high‑quality shippable code.

What You’ll Bring:

- Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related area of study.
- Understands software design patterns, principles and Agile development lifecycle.
- Familiar with at least one modern programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc).
- Knowledge of AWS (Lambda, S3, Cloud9), is an asset.




- Exposure to SQL databases and security frameworks is an asset.
- Experience in data processing, analytics, building applications, and learning recent frameworks.
