Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Helper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks, ensuring projects progress smoothly and efficiently. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will contribute to building high-quality structures while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

- Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and concrete finishing.
- Support carpentry activities including cabinet installation, flooring, tile laying, and framing.
- Aid in concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to ensure durable and precise results.
- Help with masonry work, plumbing installations, electrical wiring, and welding tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Prepare job sites by cleaning debris, organizing materials, and setting up scaffolding or ladders.




- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members.

Experience

- Prior construction experience is preferred but not mandatory; a robust willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with drywall installation, caulking, painting, or restoration projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or excavators is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of masonry, tile work, flooring installation, or electrical systems will help in performing diverse tasks effectively.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $19.39-$29.71 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
