Join a team supporting large-scale capital and maintenance projects within the oil & gas sector. This role oversees contract conformance activities across executed contractual arrangements, including contract documentation, change orders, contractor compliance, and contractual issue resolution. The position supports projects with consolidated totals of up to $400MM annually and works closely with construction, legal, procurement, contract management, and project management teams.

Contract, Calgary,/Edmonton - 3 days on site

Must Haves

- 10+ years in contract administration, contract conformance, legal, engineering, or construction for construction-related projects
- Energy industry construction project contracting process and issue management
- Understanding of contract documents, including intent, context, purpose, and utilization
- Gas pipeline industry project experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, legal, technical, or business discipline; or Associate degree with relevant experience

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with best management practices for contracting
- Technical writing skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Experience supporting negotiation of complex contracting issues
- Experience working on projects of elevated complexity

Responsibilities

- Facilitate preparation of contract exhibits including scope, specifications, pricing,



and special instructions
- Support project management during contractor contract negotiations and contract formation activities
- Review contractor-submitted documents for compliance with contract requirements and communicate non-compliance issues
- Manage the change order process including logs, directives, requested changes, and approved change orders
- Maintain contractor correspondence and contract documentation logs
- Coordinate contract close-out activities and retention of project contract files
- Review contractor invoices for compliance and monitor payment processing
