As a Cybersecurity Analyst II at TRIUMF, you will leverage your extensive experience to perform critical evaluations of our cybersecurity measures. Your primary focus will be on conducting technical risk assessments, enhancing our security architecture, and leading detection engineering initiatives. You'll work collaboratively with a diverse range of researchers while providing mentorship to junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead comprehensive risk assessments and audits of systems
• Assess security architecture for threats and vulnerabilities




• Design and manage detection content in response to threats
• Oversee identity and access management processes
• Provide guidance during complex incident response situations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or similar
• At least 5 years of previous cybersecurity experience
• Deep understanding of detection engineering and risk assessment
• Capability in mentoring junior analysts
• Active pursuit of CISSP certification
