Drive innovation in maintenance strategies as a Specialist Maintenance A&I; at BHP’s Jansen Project in Saskatchewan. This position offers a full time opportunity to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
The successful candidate will report to the Reliability Superintendent and will play a crucial role in the long-term operational readiness of BHP’s mining assets. This initial twelve-month assignment focuses on developing effective maintenance strategies and collaborating with various technical teams. You'll engage in all aspects of transitioning from project execution to operational excellence, directly influencing the reliability of one of the world's significant potash projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement maintenance strategies and reliability models
• Perform reliability assessments like RCM and root cause analysis




• Develop comprehensive preventive maintenance job plans
• Engage collaboratively with engineering and project teams
• Support the management of maintenance master data in SAP
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification in Engineering
• Eligibility for APEGS registration in Saskatchewan
• Proven experience in asset or maintenance reliability solutions
• Knowledge of industry-standard reliability and maintenance principles
• Commitment to continuous improvement and safety culture
