Contract Hourly pay range: $33.00 - $ /hr Hybrid to start, but expected to be 5 days in office in future In person interview in Windsor, ON RESPONSIBILITIES Our client is seeking a System Simulation Engineer within the Propulsion Virtual Thermal Management (VTM) team. This role focuses on thermal management systems, including air-conditioning (A/C), engine, battery, and cabin cooling, using primarily one-dimensional simulation tools.



The candidate will be expected to independently execute 1D and coupled 1D-3D simulations, from data acquisition across various sources through to analysis and report generation. The role requires close collaboration with system engineers to provide simulation-driven insights, numerical solutions, and recommendations for design improvements. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering Minimum 2 years of experience using 1D simulation tools such as Amesim, GT-SUITE, Flowmaster, KULI, AVL Cruise, or MATLAB/Simulink for flow and thermal analysis Minimum 2 years of experience in applied CFD, using tools such as ANSA, STAR-CCM+, or TAITherm Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a focus on thermo-fluid systems Strong fundamentals in Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Heat
