Under the direction of the Primary Health Care Manager - Therapies and supervision of the Speech-Language Pathologist - Senior, the Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing speech/language programs for preschool children and/or adults within the assigned service area. Human Resources Exemption:

No Education

Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP)

Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license





Memberships Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists

Competencies Basic - Interpersonal skills

Basic - Organizational skills

Basic - Leadership skills

Basic - Writing skills

Basic - Verbal communication skills

Knowledge and Abilities Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team

Positive approach to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity

Other Information Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement

Registered/eligible with SK Assoc. of SLPs and Audiologists (SASLPA)

Experience in feeding/swallowing with peds/adult acute patients is preferred.
