Job Description/Summary

J&D; Smokin? Interiors is seeking a Skilled taper/Drywaller to join our team. You will be responsible for applying tape and joint compounds to drywall seams, corners and fastener heads to create a smooth seamless finish ready for paint.

Key Responsibilities

- Applicant may be required to hang drywall.
- Apply multiple coats of compound and feather edges smoothly.
- Install corner beads, trim and reinforce joints with tape.




- Ensure all surfaces are clean and free of imperfections before finishing
- Mix compounds to proper consistency
- Finishing sanding and ensuring work area is clean and free of debris.
- Work efficiently while adhering to all safety procedures ad site requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Reliable Vehicle and Current drivers license
- Proficient in using hand tools ( knives, trowels)
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs
- Work on ladders/ scaffold at heights exceeding 5ft
- Repetitive arm movements
- Work on your feet for 8 hours
- Knowledge of drywall and finishing work an asset.
