Our programs serve diverse communities and offer opportunities for youth to explore leadership, public speaking, STEAM, recreation, and personal development.
As a Camp Coordinator, you will create a safe, inclusive, and engaging workplace for children and youth throughout the summer. You will lead a variety of activities — including team‑building challenges, arts and crafts, STEM workshops, outdoor recreation, leadership games, public speaking exercises, and youth leadership development sessions — ensuring programs are dynamic, accessible, and developmentally appropriate.
You will communicate positively with campers, families, and fellow staff, and collaborate with other leaders to design programming that meets diverse needs and promotes a strong sense of belonging,
particularly for newcomer and equity‑deserving youth.
Safety and well‑being are essential responsibilities. You will supervise activities, support campers through challenges, and use constructive conflict‑resolution strategies to help them build resilience and interpersonal skills. Adherence to camp policies, First Aid, and CPR‑C protocols is required.
You will also support community‑focused programming that highlights mental health awareness, youth empowerment, diversity, healthy living, and leadership development. Participation in staff training and ongoing professional development will strengthen your leadership abilities and ensure smooth, high‑quality camp experiences.
