About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and creative Remote Sports Event Planner to conceptualize, organize, and execute a variety of sports events for a global audience. Working entirely from home, you will manage all logistical aspects, from venue selection (if applicable) and vendor coordination to budget management and on-site execution (if required for specific events). This role demands exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a virtual setting, ensuring successful and memorable events.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute sports events, including tournaments, festivals, and corporate sports days, from conception to completion.
- Source and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, venues, and contractors.
- Develop detailed event budgets and manage them effectively to ensure profitability and adherence to financial targets.
- Create event timelines and manage all logistical aspects, ensuring smooth operations.
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies for events.




- Oversee on-site event execution (when necessary) and manage event staff and volunteers.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in event planning, with a specialization in sports events.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple event projects concurrently.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in event management software and virtual collaboration tools.
