Brampton, OntarioFull-Time | On-Site & Field SalesAbout TransloadTransload Warehousing & Logistics Inc. is a growing third-party logistics (3PL) company providing warehousing, transloading, cross-docking, inventory management, fulfillment and transportation solutions to businesses across the Greater Toronto Area.We are expanding our customer base and are looking for an experienced, motivated Business Development Manager to join our team and lead new customer acquisition.The OpportunityThis is a new-business-focused sales position for a motivated sales professional who knows how to identify opportunities, build relationships and close B2B accounts.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing recent business with importers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, e-commerce companies, trucking companies, freight forwarders and other businesses requiring warehousing and logistics services.Candidates with an existing network or book of business within the GTA logistics, transportation, manufacturing or distribution industry are strongly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities throughout the GTAProspect and generate leads through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking and in-person visitsBuild relationships with importers, manufacturers, distributors, freight forwarders, trucking companies and 3PL customersPromote Transload's warehousing, storage, transloading and cross-docking solutionsDevelop customized logistics solutions based on customer requirementsConduct customer meetings and site visitsPrepare proposals,



rate quotes and presentationsNegotiate commercial terms and close new accountsMaintain an accurate sales pipeline and consistently follow up with prospectsDevelop long-term relationships with new and existing customersWork closely with operations to ensure a smooth customer onboarding processMeet and exceed monthly and annual sales targetsWhat We're Looking ForRequirements2+ years of B2B sales or business-development experienceProven experience generating new businessStrong prospecting and cold-calling skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesSelf-motivated and results-orientedComfortable conducting customer meetings and field visitsStrong organizational and follow-up skillsValid driver's licence and reliable transportationExperience in 3pl, warehousing or logistics industry is strongly preferredExisting GTA customer relationships or a proven book of business will be considered a significant advantage.CompensationBase Salary: $per year + Uncapped CommissionAdditional compensation may include:Mileage/vehicle expense reimbursementPerformance-based bonusesCustomer acquisition incentivesWe believe strong sales performance should be rewarded.
