Assignment:

Part-time 0.50 FTE Educational Assistant position Scheduled days are TDB, dependent on the successful candidates availability Supporting neurodivergent students in their individual learning and personal goals within the Lifeskills program Assisting classroom, teachers in implementing modified learning plans, behavioral support strategies, and functional life skills activities Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year Qualifications and/or Assets:

Experience working with students with complex needs Knowledge of speech and behavior modification strategies would be considered an asset Effective oral and written communication skills Expereince working in a Lifeskills program would be considered an asset Ability to foster a safe, inclusive,



and encouraging environment that promotes student independence and confidence Ability to provide one-on-one and group supports tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with teachers, specialized staff, and families to support student success Robust interpersonal skills and a positive personality Calm and patient approach to solving problems Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented learning environment Ability to work one on one with a student in an inclusive environment Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset Please Note:
