Join us in shaping the future of the energy industry!Role OverviewPine Cliff Energy Ltd. is currently accepting applications for a Contract Field Operator for our Sundre South Area. Reporting to the Foreman, the successful applicant will be part of an active team setting responsible for routine field operations. The work schedule will be determined depending on the needs of the operation. The successful candidate will be expected to reside within a 30-minute drive from the Town of Sundre.The Field Operator position is responsible for maintaining the field to high health, safety and environmental standards while operating in a cost-effective manner. This position will be required to operate any combination of sweet and sour oil and gas wells / batteries / gas compression / water injection facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor sweet and sour wells, facilities and production equipmentCommunicate and prioritize field operation requirementsDetermine and communicate production problems to support personnelMaintain accurate production records, including downtime,



chemical & water injection reportsCoordinate shut down and startup of wells for well servicingParticipate in monthly safety meetingsMaintain daily log sheetsAssist with engineering strategies to optimize productionOffer trouble shooting and preventative maintenance to fellow operatorsAssist with coordinating the chemical program and corrosion monitoring program, including coupons and water analysisPromote Pine Cliff's safety and environmental programs and monitor related issues.Qualifications & RequirementsLegally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictionsA minimum of 5 years oil & gas battery / gas plant operating experienceA valid Grade 12 diplomaA valid passport and Class 5 Driver's LicenseExcellent organization skills, strong verbal and written communication skillsComplete working knowledge of plant, corporate safety and environmental rules, procedures and policiesExcellent decision-making capabilitiesProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with software programs such as Muddy Boots and Data Works considered an assetCurrent and up to date safety training including First Aid/CPR, H2S Alive and TDG/WHMIS.Preference will be given to applicants who hold a current Fired Process Heater Operator Certificate of Competency or a Fourth-Class Power Engineer's Certificate of Competency.Closing Date30 days from Posting DateWe thank you for your application and wish to advise that only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
