Security Specialist - ProjectDelivery

Cabco Technologies is a trusted provider of business technology solutionsacross Atlantic Canada. We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused SecuritySpecialist to lead the implementation and delivery of commercial securitysolutions for our growing client base.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellentproblem-solving skills, project management experience, and a commitment tocustomer satisfaction, quality, and safety.

What You’ll Do

As our Security Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing,configuring, and supporting commercial security systems, including:

- Videosurveillance (CCTV)
- Access controlsystems
- Intrusion alarmsystems
- IP-based andnetwork-connected security solutions

You will work directly with customers to assess security requirements,recommend appropriate solutions, and ensure projects are delivered on time, onbudget, and to the highest standards.

Additional responsibilities include:

- Serving as thesubject matter expert for security systems
- Troubleshootingtechnical issues and resolving system challenges
- Collaboratingwith sales, estimating, operations teams, and customers
- Reviewingcompleted work to ensure quality and regulatory compliance
- Preparingproject documentation, system reports, and closeout packages
- Mentoring andsupporting technicians through coaching and technical guidance
- Providingcustomer training on system operation and best practices
- Promoting astrong safety culture and ensuring safe work practices are followed





Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 5 yearsof experience with commercial security systems, electronic security, orintegrated building technologies
- Strongknowledge of video surveillance, access control, intrusion alarms, andIP-based security solutions
- Solidnetworking knowledge, including IP addressing, switches, and connecteddevices
- Excellenttroubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strongcommunication and customer relationship management abilities
- Experiencemanaging project implementation plans, budgets, resources, and timelines
- Ability to readand interpret technical drawings, specifications, and system documentation
- A validdriver's license
- Willingness towork a versatile schedule and travel throughout Atlantic Canada as needed

- Manufacturercertifications in security products and platforms
- Experience withenterprise-level security and integrated security systems
- Industrycertifications and security licensing
- Experienceconducting customer consultations, site assessments, and developingsecurity recommendations
