You are motivated by goals, a self-starter, and enjoy wearing multiple hats in a fast-growing fintech environment.ResponsibilitiesReceive and process vendor invoices and expense reports accurately in Concur/NetsuitePrepare and review journal entries for various transactions (eg. Credit cards, Cash, AP, etc)Validate invoices and ensure accuracy in entity, vendor, date, department,
and GL codingManage and respond to AP related inquiries promptlyProcess weekly AP payment batches, send remittances and post payments in Concur/NetsuiteSupport daily and weekly cash management activities, including monitoring cash balances and identifying items requiring follow-upPerform daily bank reconciliations by matching bank activity to the general ledger, identifying discrepancies, and escalating unusual or unresolved itemsComplete weekly bank reconciliations and cash reviews, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and follow-up items are tracked to resolutionPrepare monthly bank reconciliations and supporting schedules for assigned accounts, investigate outstanding reconciling items, and support month-end close requirementsAssist with month-end balance sheet reconciliations, including AP and cash accountsProvide monthly variance analysis on AP and other related GL accountsAssist with audit requests related to AP/AR/CashAct as a backup for Accounts Receivable, including generating invoices and posting receiptsMaintain clear working papers, documentation, and supporting schedules for internal review and audit requestsHelp maintain and enhance controls that support the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of AP and Treasury processesIdentify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency across AP and cash operationsAssist with other Finance projects, reporting requirements, and ad-hoc requests as neededRequirementsCollege and/or University education in Finance/BA/Accounting; previous accounting experience is an assetStrong attention to detail with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables,
