Requirements

- An undergraduate degree in business administration, commerce, computer science, or another major related to the service provided is usually required.
- Usually requires several years of experience as a middle manager in finance, media or other business services.




- It is possible to specialize in a particular function or service area through specific university training in the field or through prior experience.
- Senior CFOs often request professional accounting designations.
