Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. (Al-Pac) seeks a skilled Advisor for Indigenous Relations to be based at our Mill Site near Athabasca, Alberta. This strategically important role fosters inclusivity and builds understanding of Indigenous Peoples. In this position, you will manage consultation processes and establish collaborative relationships with Indigenous communities.

You will also monitor compliance with Alberta's regulatory standards, ensuring that community perspectives are effectively integrated into Al-Pac's operations. Your work will emphasize the importance of historical context and cultural respect. Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate relationships with First Nations and Métis communities
- Lead consultations and stay informed on regulatory processes




- Engage with diverse communities to identify risks
- Maintain effective communications within the organization
- Document and prepare reports on community engagements Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Indigenous Studies or related field
- 7-12 years of relevant professional experience
- Proven knowledge of Indigenous governance structures
- Solid organizational and facilitation capabilities
