Adecco is currently hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a full-time opportunity within a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment in Cumberland, ON. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and forklift operation who enjoy hands‑on work and take pride in maintaining organized, efficient warehouse operations.

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Location: Cumberland, ON

Shift: Monday to Friday | 8 AM - 6 PM

Job type: Temporary with possibility of permanence | Full-time

Responsibilities:

Shipping & Receiving

Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and shipping documentation.

Receive and inspect inbound shipments to verify accuracy and identify any damage.

Process shipping and receiving paperwork and maintain accurate records.

Ensure all incoming and outgoing inventory is properly documented and tracked.

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control

Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient storage and accessibility.

Perform regular inventory counts and support inventory audits.

Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in accordance with safety procedures.

Assist with material movement throughout the facility.

General Warehouse Support

Support production, quality, and other departments as required.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow all company health, safety, and operational procedures.





Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory control.

Forklift certification is considered an asset.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Basic computer skills and experience using inventory management systems.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.

Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
