Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – M1 or M2 AS350 Experience Required

We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) – M1 or M2 with AS350 experience to join our growing helicopter operation, that values your life outside of work. Our seasonal schedule is designed around that philosophy — providing a consistent Monday-to-Friday schedule through the winter months and an attractive 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation during the busy summer season.

The Opportunity

As an AME, you will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of helicopters to the highest standards of safety, reliability and regulatory compliance.

You will work closely with our maintenance and operations teams to ensure aircraft are maintained efficiently and are ready to support our customers.

The position is particularly suited to an AME who enjoys a combination of hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections and field operations, while still wanting a predictable schedule and meaningful time away from work.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopters.
- Carry out inspections, troubleshooting, defect rectification and component changes.
- Perform maintenance in accordance with Transport Canada regulations, approved maintenance programs and applicable manufacturer documentation.
- Complete maintenance records and technical documentation accurately and efficiently.




- Assist with field aircraft inspections, component changes and major maintenance events.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and systems-related issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized and professional maintenance environment.
- Work collaboratively with pilots, other maintenance personnel and management.
- Promote a strong safety culture and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Participate in field maintenance and operational support as required.

Qualifications

Required:

- Valid Transport Canada AME M1 or M2 licence.
- AS350 experience
- Strong understanding of Transport Canada CARS Regs/Standards.
- Ability to work in Canada
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
- Valid driver's licence

Assets
- Experience with AS350 B3 aircraft.
- Experience with other turbine helicopters
- Experience with detailed Turbine engine maintenance.
- Experience working in a commercial helicopter operation.
- Field / Remote maintenance experience.
- Previous ACA experience.
- Experience with maintenance tracking systems.
