Position: Elementary Generalist Teacher
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across core elementary subject areas. Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centred learning workplace. Develop students' academic, social, emotional, and communication skills. Prepare lesson plans, learning resources, classroom activities, and assessments. Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. Use differentiated and inquiry-based teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Encourage critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and independent learning. Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive student behaviour. Communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with colleagues to support student development. Maintain accurate student records and participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development.
