Asphalt Spreader Operator

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour (based on experience).

Job Overview:

Seal n Save Blacktopping Inc. is expanding it’s paving services and is seeking experienced Asphalt Spreader Operators to join our paving crew. The successful candidate(s) will play a key role in asphalt paving operations, working closely with the paving team to deliver high-quality results for residential, commercial, and industrial paving projects.

We are looking for a motivated individual(s) with strong paving experience who can contribute to both crew productivity and project quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate an asphalt spreader and maintain asphalt thickness per scope.
- Assist with various duties related to prep work and asphalt paving operations.
- Work collaboratively with crew members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Communicate with the Project Manager, Estimator, and Paving Supervisor to plan and execute paving procedures.




- Complete tasks independently and as part of a crew.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.

Experience & Skills:

Preferred candidates will have experience with:
- Asphalt spreading, raking, and finishing.
- Grading and final grade preparation.
- Paving driveways, commercial parking lots, industrial yards, walking paths and municipal and provincial paving projects.
- Operating paving-related equipment.
- Understanding paving layouts and achieving proper asphalt finishes.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of asphalt paving experience.
- Valid driver’s license (DZ or AZ is an asset).
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to following all safety policies and procedures.
