About the position
Reporting to the Centre Director acts as an integral member of the Kids & Company team who is responsible for assisting the day-to-day operations of a specific childcare center through the conscientious application of Kids & Company standards to achieve our mission statement: to provide quality primary and backup childcare services conveniently located near our children’s parent’s place of work. We aim to assist corporations in creating a healthy work/life balance.
Responsibilities
Support children’s emotional, physical, and behavioral well being; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills
Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping
Implement an Emergent Curriculum
Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks
Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists,
and Early Interventionists as necessary
Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA
Participate and help lead staff meetings and workshops
Assistant the Centre Director with child/ staff files and other ministry requirements.
What you need
Registered with the College of ECE’s and in valuable standing
Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal reference check
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
Immunization records up to date / two-step TB test.
Ability to push, pull and lift up- to 45 pounds
