Duties

- Support the Centre Director in identifying student needs and opportunities and developing customized student learning plans
- Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
- Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress
- Lead and coach team members to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
- Manage students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
- Assist the Centre Director in overseeing daily centre operations, including scheduling and student enrollment management
- Support instructors in delivering engaging and effective math lessons tailored to diverse learning styles
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to reinforce key concepts and boost student confidence
- Help maintain a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning
- Monitor student progress, gather feedback, and communicate with parents or guardians as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, resource organization, and program promotion
- Contribute to the development of new teaching materials and activities that enhance the curriculum

Skills

- Previous customer relationships & sales experience preferred

- Flexible and proactive in supporting the Centre Director’s initiatives and classroom needs
- Prior experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics is highly desirable
- Demonstrates enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
