Hybrid work schedule – Calgary office The Norton Rose Fulbright Capital Markets group in Calgary is a leading practice for complex, high-value securities and M&A; mandates for local, national and global corporations. We have particular expertise in public and private M&A;, debt and equity capital markets, corporate governance and general corporate and commercial advisory matters, and routinely play a role in some of Canada’s most high‑profile transactions. Our Calgary office is currently seeking a mid‑level securities’ associate to join this group.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have three to five years’ experience in securities, gained in a team environment, assisting on high‑value and complex domestic, cross-border and multi‑jurisdictional M&A; and securities mandates. The successful candidate will bring sound technical skills, strong judgement, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service in a team-oriented, high‑performing team.

You Will Be Focusing On

- Assist on significant securities transactions, including public and private M&A; transactions and equity and debt offerings
- Draft and review transaction documents, prospectuses and other disclosure materials
- Conduct due diligence and support regulatory filings and other transaction execution matters

What You Bring To The Role

- 3-5 years’ experience gained within a reputable practice with significant exposure to securities and M&A; matters
- Excellent client service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Willingness to take initiative
- Excellent academic credentials
