Embrace a rewarding part-time role as a Health Promotion Educator with AVI Health & Community Services, specializing in sexual health and harm reduction. Foster community connections while educating on crucial health topics related to HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis. You will join the South Island Education Team to design and deliver educational programs aimed at reducing the incidence of STBBIs and promoting safe substance use practices.

Working closely with affected communities, including the 2SLGBTQIA+ population, is pivotal to this role. Your focus will also include collaboration with other educators and community partners to maximize outreach. Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement comprehensive educational workshops
- Execute community outreach and awareness campaigns




- Lead events for significant health observances
- Offer personalized educational support and referrals
- Maintain records and statistical data for program evaluation Requirements:
- 1-2 years' experience in educational program delivery
- Familiarity with harm reduction and substance use
- Excellent communication and relational skills
- Valid Class 5 BC Drivers’ Licence preferred
