Our client is seeking an Aviation Technical Trainer - Engine Modules to support the development and qualification of technicians within a commercial aircraft engine Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment . This role is focused on delivering technical training related to engine module maintenance , including teardown, inspection, repair, and assembly activities .

What You'll Do

- Deliver classroom, workshop, and hands-on technical training focused on aircraft engine modules and maintenance fundamentals
- Prepare training materials, equipment, tools, and learning environments that reflect real-world shop floor operations
- Facilitate practical demonstrations and technical instruction for maintenance personnel
- Administer technical assessments, evaluations, and competency reviews
- Monitor trainee progress and provide coaching, mentoring, and developmental feedback
- Identify learning gaps and implement corrective training measures as required
- Validate technician knowledge and practical skill development through objective qualification assessments
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation
- Support updates and continuous improvement of training programs, materials, and instructional methods
- Collaborate with operational, engineering, quality, and technical teams to ensure training aligns with organizational requirements and industry standards

Qualifications

Required

- Diploma in Aviation Maintenance, Aerospace Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related technical discipline
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a technical training, technical lead, team lead, or mentoring capacity within an aviation maintenance environment
- Robust hands-on experience with aircraft engine module maintenance , including teardown, inspection, repair,



and build-up activities
- Knowledge of commercial aircraft engine maintenance and overhaul practices
- Understanding of aviation regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills
- Ability to evaluate technician competency and provide constructive developmental feedback
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)

Preferred Experience

- CFM56 engine experience
- Aircraft engine overhaul or MRO environment experience
- Experience developing and delivering technical training programs
- Experience conducting practical evaluations and competency assessments
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional methodologies
- Experience supporting technician onboarding and qualification programs
- Experience working within Transport Canada, FAA, or EASA-regulated maintenance environments
- Experience leading apprentices, junior technicians, or maintenance teams
