Strada Coffee Co. is looking to hire a passionate and motivated Barista/Cashier to join our team! Our ideal candidate would have experience in the food service industry and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a barista/cashier, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

- Prepare and/or serve a variety of beverages and food according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using the POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service when greeting customers, taking orders and addressing inquiries/concerns.
- Manage time efficiently during busy or not busy periods to ensure a successful service that is up to our quality standards.
- Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, following proper food handling procedures.




- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling or register operations.

Experience:
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to all candidates.
- Experience in the food service industry is advantageous.
- Time management skills are required to handle multiple tasks efficiently in our fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills are required for this position. This includes engaging positively with our customers and creating a welcoming environment for all of those visiting our establishment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing is required.
