Job Overview

Stefanos Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant in New Westminster seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser for part-time/casual, evening weekend shifts. Stefanos caters to families, couples and groups celebrating memorable moments. We also host a dine and dance every Friday and Saturday evening to live music. We are currently seeking a new front of house member to grow with our small, hardworking team. Bring your passion, strong work ethic and love of people to our team!

As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for our guests. You will assist the waitstaff by clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in the hospitality industry and are passionate about providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and tables
- Reset tables with clean utensils, and glassware in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Ensure that all supplies are stocked and readily available for service staff.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications





- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is mandatory
- Must be able to work weekends until 11PM or Midnight. Preference to those who live locally and can get a safe ride home.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others in a team setting.
- Must be able to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
- Have Serving It Right Certificate

The ideal candidate would have previous experience in the hospitality industry, bring a positive attitude to each shift and be a team player. In addition, this position is for someone wanting 1-2 shifts a week with availability Friday, Saturday and the occasional Sunday evenings. The right candidate will also be flexible to pick up additional shifts in the three weeks leading up to Christmas season. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.25 per hour
