CACTUS TREE INN IS HIRING HOTEL HOUSEKEEPER

JOB DETAILS

Business and work location: 5887 Main St, Oliver, BC, Canada, V0H 1T0

Salary: $19.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) /

Terms of employment: Permanent employment / Part time or full time (14 to 40 hours per week) / Shift

Benefit: 4% Vacation pay

Starts as soon as possible

REQUIREMENTS

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: No experience required (will train)

WORK SETTING: Motel / Inn (Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.)

TASKS

- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
- Dust furniture
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- Make beds and change sheets




- Distribute clean towels and toiletries
- Stock linen closet
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Handle and report lost and found items
- Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
- Provide basic information on facilities
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Launder clothing and household linens
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns

SUPPORT FOR YOUTHS

- Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work setting for youth
