Responsibilities:

- Take direction from supervisors, coordinators and/or support staff
- Required to perform inspections and repairs to fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers and emergency lighting units and other life safety systems
- Perform programming and verifications of current and modified fire alarm systems
- Ensure the highest standard of system reliability and that client satisfaction is met
- Complete work order and all reports in a timely manner
- Rotate for on‑call emergency service




- Understand and follow best practices for the standards that apply to the scopes of work being completed such as CAN/ULC, NFPA and Ontario Fire Code standards and regulations

Qualifications:

- CFAA registered or certified
- 1-5 years’ experience is preferred
- Prior experience with fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers and emergency lighting is an asset
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, customer oriented and be able to work well independently as well as with others.
