Become a Charitable Donations Pickup Driver for the National Diabetes Trust and contribute to community welfare. This full time truck driving role is pivotal in our mission. Driving a designated route, you will collect donated items that support critical diabetes programs across Canada.
As part of a dedicated team, you’ll ensure compliance with relevant driving regulations while engaging positively with donors. A G or higher licence and a clean driving record are required for applicants. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and collect donations from community routes
- Perform vehicle safety checks before trips
- Submit daily hours of service documentation
- Interact with donors courteously and professionally
- Report any route issues to dispatch promptly Requirements:
- Possession of a valid G licence for at least 5 years
- Clean driving abstract with no recent incidents
- Strong organizational and map-reading skills
- Physical ability to lift and handle weight
