Join our agile food manufacturing team as a Cheese Production and Machine Operator! Responsibilities

- Operate cheese production machinery efficiently, monitoring for proper function and quality standards
- Assist with the packaging of finished cheese products, ensuring accuracy and neatness
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work area following food safety protocols
- Use forklifts to move raw materials, ingredients, and finished products safely around the facility
- Conduct routine mechanical inspections and troubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime
- Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures diligently throughout your shift




- Support inventory management by accurately recording production data and materials usage

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food processing or manufacturing environments is preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for operating machinery is highly beneficial
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating quantities, and recording data accurately
- Familiarity with packaging processes and equipment is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory (training can be provided)
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude towards maintaining quality standards
