Job Summary
Fruiter A fruiter plans and prepares fruit meals and various drinks of the menu while ensuring the highest quality service and experience for customers. He/she also creates the beautiful fruit showcase present on the fruit counter near where clients arrive.
The fruiter is responsible for the set-up, the maintenance, and the cleaning of the fruit section. He/she is responsible for all the food preparation, the rotation of fruits and the assembly of the fruit counter. He/she must assemble the plates according to Cora standards. He/she is assigned certain cleaning duties.
Duties
- Responsible for the set-up, maintenance and cleaning of the fruit counter and fridge
- Plan daily preparations and verify supplies. Consult the preparation list.
- Know procedures for dating and identifying products.
- Know and practice good hygiene and food safety procedures.
- Arrange fruits in an appetizing manner on the counter. This showcase is mandatory and can be inspired by fruit show procedure.
- Responsible for the execution, quality, and presentation of each fruit plate.
- Responsible for the presentation of the fruit cup.
- Attend to his set-up by verifying inventory with the kitchen manager.
- The fruiter is also responsible for the cleanliness of his/her tools and workstation.
He/she is responsible for all the different knives and instruments he/she uses.
- See to the rotation of fruit.
- Prepare “birthday birds” for customer birthdays.
- Prepare plates that conform to Cora’s standards.
Cook The cook is responsible for the set-up, the maintenance, and the cleaning of the kitchen. He/she is responsible for all the food preparation, the rotation of products and the assembly of plates according to Cora standards. He/she is assigned certain cleaning duties. Once hired, a cook is expected to be capable of accomplishing the following tasks:
- Know the detailed cooking procedures for all breakfast and lunch dishes.
- Know the proper preparation method for all the different recipes.
- Know the presentation of each plate according to the Cora norms.
- Use the cleaning task schedules.
- Know the replacements and substitutions permitted by us.
- Know and apply proper hygiene and food safety procedures.
- Know the procedures for dating and identifying products.
- Know equipment and its protected utilization.
- Understand and use available tools for your position.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
