The City of Abbotsford seeks a skilled Turf and Irrigation Technician to support the maintenance of sports fields and green spaces. This full time role focuses on construction and nurturing municipal landscapes. In this position within the Park Operations Division, you will report to the Sports Field Supervisor.

Your responsibilities include maintaining sports fields, installing, and repairing irrigation systems, and applying best practices for turf management. You’ll work outdoors, ensuring the aesthetic and functional quality of Abbotsford's parks and recreational areas. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct sports field construction and maintenance tasks
- Install and repair drainage and irrigation systems
- Execute pest management strategies effectively
- Create and maintain park amenities and green spaces
- Operate and maintain specialized turf equipment Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 12 education
- Technical training in turf grass maintenance
- Two years of turf grass experience
- BC Pesticide Applicator's Certificate
- Valid BC Driver's Licence Leverage your knowledge in turf and irrigation to enhance the community's outdoor spaces at the City of Abbotsford.
