The total compensation package offers a wide array of competitive, industry-leading perks.DutiesDuties will include but are not limited to:Oversee Accounting team to ensure accuracy and submissions in a timely manner, providing support as neededManagement of General Ledger and related dutiesPreparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Statements, Financial reportingSubmission of tax remittancesCoordination and preparation of budget and financial forecasts, institute and maintain planning and control procedures and analyze report variancesRisk Analysis and ad hoc analysis as neededPreparing Month and Year End closing, ensure transactions are complete, accurate, and properly documentedLiaising with auditors, take an active role in internal and external Audit, providing required reportingEnsuring compliance as well as implementation of policies and procedures,



monitoring for accurate and successful executionProvide mentorship and development for Accounting team through thoughtful evaluationWorking closely with internal and external stakeholders and presenting financial reportsProvide contributions and recommendations regarding financial aspects of the business, communicating with Senior Management on financial variances and strategies, including developing long-term growth modelsParticipate in other active projects and ad hoc reporting as neededAbout YouThe successful candidate will have the following:Active CPA Designation in good standing is a strong asset7+ years of recent experience within a similar role for a medium-to-large organization3+ years of leadership of an accounting teamProject-based experience a strong assetStrong oral, written, and communication skills in EnglishStrong problem-solving skills, critical thinkingHighly organized, strong attention to detailExcellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative- able to work with all levels of staffAbout the JobThe salary band for this opportunity is $130,000 to $150,000 depending on relevant previous experience.EligibilityPlease note that all candidates must be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
