You might be great at this and not know it yet.
Some of the best people for this role have never thought of applying for a sales job.
Maybe you've worked in customer service, hospitality, retail, recruiting, property management, a call centre, or another role where your ability to connect with people mattered. Maybe you're the one friends and family come to when they need someone to listen.
You might be the person who naturally asks one more question. You listen instead of waiting for your turn to speak. You're curious about why people make the decisions they do. You make strangers feel comfortable. And when someone has a problem, your instinct is to understand it before trying to solve it.
Or maybe you've already done inside sales and you're good at it. You know how to work a pipeline, handle objections, and follow up until there's a clear answer. What you're looking for now is a place that values listening over pushing, rewards your results, and actually invests in making you better. You'll feel right at home here.
Either way, this role is about real conversations with real people. Sales experience helps, but it isn't required. We'll teach you our process and how our business works. What we can't easily teach is genuine curiosity, empathy, resilience, accountability, and the drive to keep getting better.
About Us
We're a real estate investment company on a mission to become the greatest house buying company in Canada. We help homeowners in tough situations sell quickly, with dignity - no pressure, no games. We've been doing this for 15+ years and we're growing.
Our team is small enough that you'll matter and serious enough that you'll grow. Everyone here has a chance to influence where the company goes.
About the Role
As our Client Relationship Representative, you're the first voice a homeowner hears when they reach out. Many of them are going through something hard. Your job is to listen, understand their situation, figure out whether we can help, and guide them to the next step.
To be upfront: this is a sales role.
Your income grows with your results, and your performance is measured. But the way we do sales is built on trust, not pressure. The people who do best here are the ones who genuinely care about the person on the other end of the phone.
What This Role Is Really Like A big part of your day is spent reaching out - calling, leaving voicemails, sending texts, and following up with homeowners who haven't answered yet. Many calls won't connect. That's normal, and it's part of the job. The people who do well here are the ones who keep going with the same energy on the next call as they had on the first.
When you do connect, those conversations matter. Some homeowners are ready to talk. Some are guarded. Some are dealing with a divorce, a death in the family, or a house they can't afford anymore. The conversations that go well usually aren't the ones where you said the perfect thing. They're the ones where you asked a good question and then actually listened to the answer.
Sometimes you'll need to ask things that feel uncomfortable, like what's really going on with the mortgage or whether everyone on title agrees on selling. Asked with care, those questions are often what help someone the most.
You'll hear "no" more than "yes," especially at first. Nobody here expects you to be great on day one. We do expect you to get a little better every week. You'll get regular coaching, call reviews, and honest feedback. The people who grow fastest here are the ones who listen back to their own calls, notice what they could do better, and put feedback to use right away.
Your income is tied to your results. There's no ceiling,
and no one will need to chase you to follow up on a lead. That part is up to you.
