The Liver and Pancreas Unit is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to join the Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Research Team.

The Clinical Research

Coordinator will primarily coordinate site start-up activities for multicenter clinical research studies conducted within the HPB Research Program, which focuses on HPB surgery, perioperative medicine, transfusion medicine, and surgical outcomes research. Day-to-day activities will involve liaising with investigators, institutional stakeholders, and participating sites, to ensure that all regulatory, contractual, ethical, and administrative requirements are completed to facilitate timely site activation and study launch. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, energetic, and proactive, with exceptional interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.

Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience with clinical research
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with investigators, research staff, and institutional stakeholders
- Robust verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills,



with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience coordinating multicentre clinical trials including study start-up and site activation activities
- Experience with Research Ethics Board processes
- Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2) and the International Conference on Harmonisation – Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
- Evidence of training in Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset

Salary: Min: $68,143/annum – Max $90,854/annum
