Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Form Carpenter to join our agile construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling concrete forms that shape and support poured concrete structures. Your expertise will ensure the precision and quality of foundational elements for a variety of construction projects, from commercial buildings to infrastructure developments.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct concrete forms.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install formwork using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
- Install rebar reinforcement within forms to strengthen concrete structures according to specifications.
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, cranes, or other equipment necessary for form installation and material handling.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and bracing of forms to maintain structural integrity during concrete pouring.
- Dismantle forms carefully after concrete has set while maintaining safety standards and minimizing waste.




- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment; assist with restoration and renovation tasks as needed.

Requirements

- Proven experience in concrete forming, carpentry, or related construction fields with a strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
- Mechanical knowledge including familiarity with schematics, blueprint reading, and technical drawings.
- Skilled in rebar installation, masonry work, drywall installation, caulking, flooring installation, and welding is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and other hand tools efficiently.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including forklifts or cranes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on precision in measurement and assembly.
- Construction experience with a focus on concrete finishing techniques is preferred.
