Comox Valley Toyota - Freelance Content Creator

Comox Valley Toyota is looking for a creative and reliable Freelance Content Creator to create engaging short‑form video content for our Sales, Parts, and Service departments.

This is a contract opportunity, not an employee position, and is ideal for a local content creator who knows how to capture attention, bring ideas to life, and create authentic social content featuring real people.

Scope Of Work

The Social Media Producer will create approximately:

- 2–3 Sales-focused reels per week
- 2 Parts & Service reels per week
- Short‑form content designed primarily for social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook
- Content featuring dealership employees, so the producer must be comfortable directing and filming employees on site.

Our goal is to keep our content human, engaging, and authentic, so you must be comfortable working with dealership staff, providing direction on camera, and helping employees feel natural while filming.

What We're Looking For

- Ability to work on location at Comox Valley Toyota in Courtenay, BC to capture content
- Your own professional camera/video equipment and editing software
- Experience filming, editing,



and producing engaging short‑form video and social media reels
- Strong creative instincts and an understanding of what makes social content engaging
- Comfortable directing and working with employees on camera
- Ability to manage projects independently and consistently meet agreed‑upon deadlines
- Automotive experience is an asset, but not required

Compensation

This is a contract, piece‑work opportunity, with compensation paid per completed and approved piece of content. Rates will be determined based on experience, portfolio, and the scope of the content being produced.
