Duties

- Assist in preparing and cooking a variety of menu items following established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Support food handling procedures, including proper storage, labeling, and sanitation practices
- Help with food plating and presentation to ensure an appealing dining experience
- Perform general cleaning duties in the kitchen area, including dishwashing and waste disposal
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accurately




- Support serving staff with meal delivery and guest requests to enhance customer satisfaction

Skills

- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests effectively
- Experience with kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and meal preparation processes
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS and cashiering procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality background or hotel experience is advantageous but not essential
- Barista experience or guest services skills are a plus for versatile team members
