Job Overview
Famoso Italian Pizzeria St. Albert is looking for a reliable and experienced Part-Time Cook to join our kitchen team.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and takes pride in preparing high-quality food. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas and other menu items according to Famoso recipes and standards
- Prepare ingredients and complete food-prep duties
- Ensure orders are prepared accurately and efficiently
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food-safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and workstation
- Assist with dishes, cleaning, and closing duties as required
- Properly store and rotate food and ingredients
- Work closely with other kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Maintain quality and consistency during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred
- Pizza-making experience is an asset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good understanding of cleanliness and food safety
- Must be available for evening shifts
- Availability to work 4:00 PM–8:00 PM or approximately 4:00 PM–9:00/9:30 PM
- Weekend availability is an asset
