Our team is dedicated, innovative, and driven with a passion for research excellence.Reporting to the Vice President of Commercialization, and working closely with the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Coordinatorwill be working on-site, at our Toronto office - primarily in the medical cannabis division (MyMedi.Ca) and will be responsible for sourcing of medical cannabis products within their assigned portfolio. With the Procurement Manager, the Coordinator will work with internal cross functional teams including operations, finance,external suppliers and other stakeholders as required.TheProcurement Coordinatorwill develop an expertise in cannabis and cannabis derived products, and will perform all necessary activities to ensure an uninterrupted supply of cannabis products to meet MyMedi.Ca demand.ON-SITE, TORONTO OFFICESALARY: $55,000 - $65,000Responsibilities:Effective onboarding and maintenance of Suppliers and Master DataForecasting and ordering of medical cannabis products by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trendsAssisting the Procurement Manager with maintaining proper inventory levels of medical cannabis and cannabis accessoriesWork with operations management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered,



short-ships or missing productsCreation of any required purchase orders under guidance of Procurement ManagerVerifying receipt of items and resolving any shipment errors directly with suppliersKeeping vendors / product information accessible by sorting and filing documentsWork with quality assurance (QA) department to ensure that all incoming products are meeting quality requirements defined by Health Canada and internal processes and act as liaison between QA and vendors to resolve any issuesMaintenance and reporting of supplier dashboards and KPIsDelivering weekly reports to management showing trends and highlighting any issues requiring escalationWorking with marketing counterparts to ensure all products on the website have correct master data set-upSupporting payment of all supplier invoicesIdentify nonconformities or potential nonconformities within the Ample Organics system and escalation as appropriateProviding ad-hoc reports as requiredPracticing principles of GMP as they relate to their responsibilitiesResponsible for adhering to all Health Canada operational and procurement under the Cannabis ActUnderstand federal and provincial cannabis regulations and keep abreast of any changes that may affect the businessIdentify corrective and preventive actions as well as opportunities for improvementOther duties as neededReporting Requirements:Development,



maintenance and reporting of operational dashboards and KPIsProcurement reporting and analysis of management informationResponsible for the monitoring and updates to website pricing after gaining necessary approvalsResponsible for ensuring that the data required for all necessary Health Canada reports are provided in a timely and accurate mannerFollow cannabis pricing trends and forecasts and adjust pricing accordinglySkills, Experience & EducationSkills2-4years of business management and project management experience in operations, logistics or workflow analysis considered an assetPost-Secondary education in a relevant field requiredExperience in the cannabis or pharmaceutical industry is considered an assetStrong abilities in project management and prioritization of objectivesMust be passionate, demonstrate ownership and accountability, and have good track record of demonstrating initiative to achieve goalsMust be data driven and solid with numbers for supply-demand forecasting, pricing forecasting and cost of goods analysesMust be very strong in Excel analysisExperience with ERP systems considered an assetAbility to coordinate and liaise with cross-functional departments to achieve business goalsAbility to manage external relationships to build strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturersDemonstrated problem solving skills, combined with well-developed communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with ambitious schedules and plans.Must be highly skilled at Microsoft Office applicationsThe job description is representative of typical duties and responsibilities for the position and it is not all inclusive.
