About Us

Venus HVAC Supply is a growing HVAC/R distributor in Etobicoke serving contractors and wholesale accounts across the GTA. We stock heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration and water-heating products, including Rinnai and Noritz tankless. We're investing in technology, including our own ERP, e-commerce site and counter tools, and we want a counter pro who grows with us.

The Role

You're the first person our contractors see at 6:30 am when they need parts fast to get to the job site. You'll run the sales counter, match the right part to the right job, keep the line moving, and build relationships that bring contractors back every day.

What You'll Do

- Serve walk-in and phone customers: identify parts, quote, process orders and payments accurately and quickly
- Cross-reference parts by model number, nameplate data, OEM or competitor part number, and recommend equivalents or upgrades
- Handle the morning rush (6:30–10 am) efficiently, keeping contractors moving
- Enter sales orders, quotes, returns and account charges in our ERP/POS system
- Check live stock, place special orders, and follow up with customers when items arrive
- Build and grow contractor relationships; spot upsell opportunities (fittings, line sets, controls, tools, venting, consumables)
- Process returns, warranty claims and core exchanges per supplier policy
- Coordinate with the warehouse and driver on pick-ups, deliveries and back orders
- Keep the counter area and displays stocked, clean and organized
- Help with receiving, putaway and cycle counts during slower afternoon hours
- Stay current on product knowledge through supplier training (Rinnai, Noritz and others)

What You Bring





Must have:

- 2+ years in HVAC/R, plumbing or electrical counter sales, wholesale distribution, or field experience as a technician or installer
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems: furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, water heaters, controls, refrigerants, ductwork and venting
- Ability to read nameplates, spec sheets and part diagrams
- Fast, accurate order entry; comfortable with POS/ERP systems and basic computer use
- Excellent customer service skills under pressure; clear English communication
- Reliable and punctual; able to start at 6:30 am and work a weekend rotation
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Nice to have:

- 313A Refrigeration, 308A, or G2/G3 gas license, or HVAC college diploma
- Tankless water heater experience (Rinnai, Noritz, Navien)
- Forklift certification and WHMIS training
- Existing contractor relationships in the GTA
- Second language (Punjabi, Hindi, Gujarati, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, etc.)
- G driver's licence

Schedule
- Monday to Friday: shifts starting at 6:30 am (store hours 6:30 am to 6:00 pm)
- Weekends: rotating Saturday (7 am to 3 pm) and Sunday (8:30 am to 12:30 pm) coverage
- Approximately 37–44 hours per week
