Duties

- Prepare and serve food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately and quickly
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and balancing registers
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared according to quality standards and timelines are met
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Assist in supervising team members during shifts,



providing guidance on food preparation, service procedures, and safety protocols

Qualifications

- Previous food preparation or food service experience preferred; restaurant experience is highly valued
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently under supervision
- Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is a plus; serving or cashiering experience is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities
