We are on the lookout for proactive Geotechnical & Materials Technicians/Technologists in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Inspired by a commitment to quality, this role is suited for those with engineering education or recent graduates. You will be entrusted with critical responsibilities including quality control testing and assisting in geotechnical investigations across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure quality through field testing of construction materials
• Review civil construction work for compliance and standards
• Perform laboratory tests on concrete, soil,



and asphalt
• Assist geotechnical investigations by sampling soil and rock
• Discuss laboratory results with clients for further insights
Requirements:
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology is preferred
• Recent graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience in QA/QC or heavy civil construction is an asset
• Registration eligibility with TechNova or NBSCETT is a plus
• Valid driver’s license for site travel
