Working as a 0.5 FTE Educational Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in facilitating inclusive education and individual success for students. Your responsibilities will include providing physical assistance for toileting and mobility, as well as fostering a supportive atmosphere for learning. Engage with various student groupings in both regular classrooms and special education settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate academic and social success for students
• Provide essential support for lifting, feeding, and mobility
• Maintain a protected and engaging educational environment




• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Rotate through different grades and classroom setups
Requirements:
• University degree or college diploma in human services required
• BMS training necessary and experience with students with ASD is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities
• Must be prepared for a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Knowledge of assistive technology preferred
