Duties
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee activities and detect suspicious behavior
Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes
Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and intervening when appropriate
Enforce safety policies and procedures to uphold a secure environment at all times
Requirements
Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable
Solid surveillance skills with familiarity using CCTV systems for monitoring large areas
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to identify and prevent theft or damage
Excellent observational skills with an eye for detail during patrols and inspections
Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism under pressure
Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency personnel
Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergency situations
Pay: $18.25 per hour
